Seoul United 2 Cheongju Tigers 1

So after three defeats we finally got our first points on Sunday at home to top of the table Cheongju. We had acquired a couple of new guys in the week and they made a great difference to the team. We were 2-0 up at half time after Aaron and Paulo had both scored one each. The team got tired in the second half and we conceeded one after 80 mins to make things a little too exciting! I think I'm finally getting the hang of this management malarcky. Note my manager pose in the below photo!
Rachel has been here since Friday so we did touristy things over the weekend. She came with Percy Pigs, wine gums, salt & vinegar pringles and dried yeast!
I am now the proud owner of a pink t-shirt after Hyun Young kept telling me to get one. I actually don't look too gay in them!
This weekend's food for the airport is going to be a spice cake!

Too much nudity!

On Sunday after the game (which we lost) Hyun Young and I went to a big sauna in Seoul. Although walking into the guys changing rooms, I opened the door to reveal about 30 naked men, not something I've ever seen in England! Apparently it's also ok for naked men to be towelling each other down in the changing rooms here.
After getting a little too warm in the sauna (why do people choose to sweat?!) I got home at 2am. I don't think I've ever stayed in that sort of place for 7 hours before!
Anyway, yesterday was Hyun Young's day off so I was conveniently 'ill'. The doctor actually diagnosed me with some disease which I found funny, considering there is nothing more wrong than a tight hamstring! I acquired the new ipod shuffle in a fetching blue colour, and also got a new cell phone although I have to wait until later today to get it activated.
This morning I met Mack to have our soccer 'crisis meeting'! After that was shopping for Valentines Day part 2. It's White Day tomorrow where guys give girls gifts! (Too many g's there!)

This week it's Easter bicuits!

Tomorrows trip to Incheon airport will see a fresh pizza and a box of easter bicuits travelling with me. Apparently the LG Telecom girls won't allow me to see Hyun Young unless I bring them food as well! Oh well, at least I can get dicount on any cell phones I want to rent!
After the airport trip we're going to Seoul because she wants a haircut. I want one too but I'm not allowed to get it cut she says. I fear I may end up with a Korean hairstyle one day! We've got Mike a date tomorrow night with one of her friends, I'm sure he'll be fine.
On Sunday we have our second match of the season, hopefully it goes better than last time. Having said that I am now famous, as my picture was in a national newspaper on Wednesday, although because it was raining last weekend, my white shorts went seethrough and you can see my boxers, haha!

Well that didn't go to plan!

Umm, yes. We lost. Umm, it rained. A lot. Umm, my body got broken by two Moroccan players. I hurt.
I won't dwell on the defeat as it was too cold and wet to even remember, plus I'm sure my ribcage shouldn't be hurting as much as this right now!
Oh yea, mum, $82 will be on your credit card! I sent some flowers to Incheon airport today and it's expensive to do in this country!

It's nearly time for kickoff!

So the football season starts today! Home to Lokomotiv Goyang means we may actually win, even though it's my first game at the helm. The team looks fairly decent assuming everyone makes it to the game!
I think I'm rapidly becoming a hit with the girls at LG Telecom at Incheon airport. I took Hyun Young chilli for her lunch and made a load of chocolate chip cookies for the rest of her colleagues! I waited for her to finish her shift and then we got the bus back, but it took nearly two hours because of the traffic. I hate buses! We watched a dvd and that was pretty much our Saturday.
I've yet to work out why all Koren must make the v sign!

Let the football begin!
