Running in a blizzard isn't fun!

I got up at seven this morning to go running and looked outside. It was pitch black but it at least looked ok. By the time I had stepped outside of the apartment it had turned into a blizzard with snow hurtling down! The direction I run also means that I had it directly into my face for most of the way. After running for about twenty minutes there was almost an inch of snow on the ground already! At least my leg felt fine though. Here's the only picture of Saturday night that I could get hold of, seeing as I forgot my camera as usual! Note the soju buckets Mike and I are holding!

An amazing thing happened on Saturday, Watford won their second game running!!! Oh well Grumps, now they're in form Ipswich don't have a chance!

Busy week ahead

After another busy weekend of football stuff and nights out, I have more this week! I'm currently trying to get someone working on creating a new site for the football league. That's a good couple of hours a day. Add that to seeing MJ for a lesson tomorrow night, testing the kids all day on Wednesday and Thursday, and a trip to Costco on payday this Thursday and the week days are taken up. Then this weekend I told Annie I'd take her out to dinner and after that I have to go to a birthday party!! Sunday looks free but I'm sure that will be filled with a hangover!
Yesterday I bought some swanky new Adidas trainers for 80,000. I wanted some jeans but either didn't want to pay a fortune from the Levis shop or they didn't have my size everywhere else! Oh well, I'll search again this weekend.

Too many bagels!

I've just got back from E-Mart and ended up buying a ton of bagels, which are now crammed into my freezer!
Nothing vaguely exciting has happened this week. I had Samgyetang the other night which is a small stuffed chicken in a soup. It was really nice and had ginseng in it so I'm probably cured of all ailments if you believe what Koreans say!
Tomorrow all I need to do is go and buy some new trousers, probably from COEX. Then I have lunch and a lesson with MJ followed by our big pre season league meeting in the evening. I've been working like a little beaver all week as I'm now in charge of getting someone to build the league a new website. On Sunday all I have to do is lesson and lunch with Annie so nothing exciting!
Yesterday I got my Christmas present from Donna. It was great to get something in the mail that isn't from the Student Loans Company! There were a couple of t-shirts and a Red Sox cap which I've been after for ages as well as a couple of other things. Thankyou Donna!

Calling all web designers!

So if anyone is reading and is either a web designer, or knows someone who is, let me know!
The football league is requiring a new site and we require a template that can be easily updated.
I have created a document outlining our requirements that I can send to you. We are willing to pay for the service but our budget isn't huge.
Send me an e-mail at jameslarter@hotmail.com if you can help!

Sorry!

People have been moaning at me because of the lack of an update. Sorry, but I've hardly seen the computer this week!
This weekend has been so busy
. I taught Annie in the morning yesterday and then her and MJ took me to the cinema in the afternoon. Then I headed into Seoul to meet with the league executive commitee. I know have a ton of stuff to to for the footy league!
Today I did some work for Cisse. He had me interviewing Koreans who want to become teachers and test their interview skills and language used in the interview. It was easy, fun and gave me a chunk of tax free cash! It also gave me a great business idea, which I'm not telling anyone right now!
Anyway, that was the weekend. I'm trying to complete my briefing document for the new league website I've been put in charge of setting up.

Ummm Annie........ Help!!!

I had my weekly lesson with Annie yesterday and the funniest thing happened. I went to the toilet in the Kindergarten where she works and was unable to find the flush. I saw some buttons next to the toilet and figured one of them must be it. I pressed the blue one and got a jet of water right in my face and up my jacket! So, I'm standing there not knowing what to do, getting soaked. After pressing more buttons, I eventually ran oout of the toilet to find Annie, who saw what had happened and cracked up! It was funny, apart from not knowing where the water had been previously!
This weekend was spent in Seoul, out both nights so I'm a little tired and going to go to bed in a minute, even though it's only 6:30!

This Weeks News

I thought I'd better post as I haven't done it for a while.
We went back to work on Tuesday and discovered our office has shrunk as it's been moved. Not only is it smaller, but it's cold! I have a new class that gives me an extra four hours of overtime a week for January which is nice. It's a conversation class so we just talk for two hours!
Not much else has happened this week. Ahra, my boss may be rescheduling my hours in March so I can coach the kids soccer team as part of my workload. That would be cool.
Oh yea, and I get to go out with a Korean Norwegian girl tomorrow night. Never heard of that combination!

Happy New Year!!

2006 ended and 2007 started in a bar in Gangnam called Melrose. It's rapidly become my favourite bar in the whole world. We stayed there until 12:30 and then went to Itaewon for the rest of the night. I got back at 7 this morning, a whole two hours earlier than last week!! I managed to demolish a big plate of pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs as well as a Subway sandwich when I woke up and was still hungry!!
Before I went out yesterday I bought the most comfortable football boots ever. My feet look so pretty in them!

Rachel booked her flight out here for March so now I have a guest for a week!!! As long as she brings food from home I'll be happy!!!
