My latest project

Hi guys,

I'm now working on a project to compile as much information on teaching and living in Korea as possible. I've yet to find a website that gives me everything I want to know so I thought I'd set one up.
It's very much work in progress but check it out at www.liveinsouthkorea.com. It's not pretty but it will contain just about everything possible!

Let me know if there's anything you want on there or if you'd like to help out!

What am I up to now?

Well, I'm back in the UK working in digital marketing for the Post Office. Enjoying it thoroughly.
I also have two other jobs.

The first is as a digital marketing contractor. If you're website or business needs help online, I'm your man. I'll get your site seen, visited and get people to stay on it. I write content, deal with SEO and paid advertising as well as analytics. I have pretty good rates too, ask me for a quote!

The second is as a proofreader/content editor for Korean students in the UK. Basically, I'll edit your coursework to a standard of English good enough to increase your grade.

For either of these, e-mail me at jameslarter@hotmail.com for more info!

Back posting

I'm celebrating the lack of a virus on my computer finally. I managed to fix it twenty minutes ago!!
Other things to celebrate:
Red Sox winning the World Series
Watford destroying everyone in the Championship
Bottles of rum in E Mart for $5
Gin & Tonic
Not being a Canadian

Where have I been?

I now have my new job and I live in Seoul. It's so much nicer being in the city as everything is much closer. My new workplace is good as is everyone I work with.
On the football side of things, we lost 3-2 away to Anyang but then last Sunday we played Osan at home. We won 5-1 with yours truly scoring a beautiful 25 yard volley to finish off the scoring. Rumour has it that the Chelsea bosses heard about our success and want to install me as their new manager!
Next week is Chuseok. I' not doing much and Hyun Young doesn't get time off so I think I'll be hanging around in Seoul for a bit. I think everyone from work is getting together on Tuesday for a meal.
I'm now addicted to Costco pizza and pumpkin pie. Possibly the greatest meal in the world. EVER!

The UN football team wins!!

Sunday we played Cheongju. After losing last weekend we needed a win to stay positive and we easily did it in the end, winning 3-1. Is it any coincedence that we were showing off our new kit for the first time?

I narrowly avoided breaking a finger, hence the huge bandage on my right hand!!

Today was spent mostly in the Immigration Office in Seoul with my new director. He seems really nice and really goes out of his way to help me. He even has a slight English accent after spending three years in London (he also says English weather is better than Korean weather, are you listening Hyun Young?!!)

We have no footy this weekend, so there may be a chance we're going away for a couple of days. Hopefully Kevin will have helped me move to the new apartment sometime this week.
Packing is no fun as I keep finding things that I'm not sure are trash or memories!

Watersports

Yesterday was Independence Day in Korea so no work! I headed off to Cheongpyeong resevoir with Hyun Young and her friends late Tuesday evening. After cooking a ton of meat and sharing a bottle of whisky with one of the guys we headed to bed, which consisted of a blanket on the floor with four of us in each room.
We got up to do wakeboarding, which resulted in me drinking half of the lake and acquiring some very sore arms in the process. After some more playing in/on the water we came back to Seoul and back to work!
